Health Systems Technology, Inc. (HST) (formerly Software Solutions of NY, Inc.), based in Rochester, NY, is the creator of MedPointe, a Microsoft® Windows®-based electronic medical record (EMR). HST was founded in 2001, after obtaining exclusive rights from Software Solutions to its existing medical practice management program (PMP) with which MedPointe is tightly integrated.
Over the past 8 years, the company has done extensive development and testing of MedPointe. With the help of a small cadre of EMR customers, all of whom became aware of our product by "word-of-mouth," we have refined MedPointe into a comprehensive suite of programs whose use improves the quality of care and efficiency with which physicians deliver it.
What we have developed is second to none and we are excited about the real opportunities created through use of our systems to improve the quality of patient care, office efficiencies, and simultaneously reducing the cost of health care delivery.
